Men's Yoga & Meditation with Michael Peterson

Join MYC's weekly Tuesday Yoga and Meditation class, which will be led this Tuesday, 12/17 by Michael Peterson, at The Well, in Mt. Pleasant, DC

Class is 1.5 hours from 615-745 pm. 

Suggested donation: $15

About MYC Classes at The Well

Classes are open to all-levels and suitable for beginners, including all ages, body types and abilities. No matter how many years of practice - you are welcome to join! Men are encouraged to identify one's specific needs and guide the breath thru a series of poses aimed to build strength, flexibility and balance. A brief mediation concludes each class.

About the instructor: 

While living in New York City, Michael was dragged into his first yoga class against his will. His perspective shifted, though, during this first class and he realized he had found a home. It was the first time he had experienced quiet in the midst of the hectic, whirling, city environment. Michael believes that this sense of calm is our natural state and the practices of yoga can and do take us there.

Michael is a Professional Level 500-hr Kripalu Yoga Teacher. He received his 200-hr teaching certification from Yoga to the People in NYC and is a Registered Yoga Teacher under Yoga Alliance. Michael teaches private clients, group classes, teacher trainings and workshops across the DC Metro Area. He draws on his experience in this range of modalities, particularly the Alexander Technique, to broaden and deepen the yoga experience for his students.
